Join Our Team As a Production and Quality Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Production and Quality Specialist for our production plant in Egypt to join our team. This role will be instrumental in supporting our international operations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and the quality of the group’s products in Egypt, while also collaborating on production projects in Spain.

Duties and Responsibilities:

In coordination with the plant manager in Spain, the General Management, and the Egyptian team, the Food Production and Quality Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Supervising production processes.
  • Ensuring quality control.
  • Analyzing data and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Creating production plans to meet customer demand.
  • Efficiently communicate production progress in Egypt to the team in Spain.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative measurements as needed by the organization.
  • Contribute with expertise to the development of new productions and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorā€™s or masterā€™s degree in areas related to Production Engineering, Food Safety, Chemical Engineering, or Veterinary Science.
  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in similar positions in agri-food production or quality control or another area that has provided relevant knowledge in the industry.
  • Experience in Production Planning and Food Safety, including Lean Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously, as part of a team, and with different departments.
  • Professional with communicative and intercultural management skills.
  • Attention to detail and effective problem-solving ability required.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (advanced Word and Excel).
  • Advanced English level (C1). Knowledge of other languages will be a plus.
  • Experience in the food sector, particularly in the fresh and frozen seafood industry, will be a plus.
  • Availability to work on holidays as needed for production.
  • Geographical availability: regular stays in the destination country (Egypt).

Proposal

  • Competitive remuneration according to knowledge and demonstrated experience.
  • 1-year contract with a 6-month probation period. Upon successful completion, an indefinite contract with a career plan and training will be offered.
  • Shared workplace, between the factory in the destination country (Egypt), the Spanish factory (Isla Mayor, Seville), and our headquarters (Seville Capital).
  • Flexible working hours in accordance with production schedules.
  • Vacations: 22 working days or 30 calendar days, organized during low season times (off-season).
